The Truth About Medicines

Most information about medical therapies is tainted or even fraudulent due to pharmaceutical company and FDA corruption. To learn the truth, I suggest you visit these websites.

  • theNNT.com – theNNT.com is non-commercial and very simply explains in mostly lay language whether a therapy has any value as well as harm.
  • Mercola.com –  the most visited natural health care site and the third most visited health care site over all.
  • lef.org – more total information than any other about natural therapies is that of Life Extension Foundation.

Each of these sites will provide references to authenticate their information. In the case of Life Extension, some of their articles will have more than 100 references to medical and scientific periodicals.

Yet, one more, a pure drug site named Rxlist.com—which has all the dry but important info about a drug that the Rx inserts have, with one important addition. This is “user reviews” comprised of real commentary by real people, patients who took the drug listed. These are eye openers, and give you a clue as to the toxicity of any drug and the potential side effects. These comments are priceless for their honesty and in some cases, outrage at their doctor and drug companies in general. (for starters, read user reviews on Lipitor, the best selling anti cholesterol drug; or try Ambien, a really scary one).
